    Download the Speccs App and complete the inspector application form. Once approved, you will receive onboarding materials and gain access to job opportunities.

  2. What happens after I apply?
    Our team will review your qualifications, conduct a background check, and notify you of your application status. Approved inspectors will be invited to complete onboarding.

Process & Technology

  1. How are inspections assigned?
    Inspections are assigned based on location, availability, and expertise. Inspectors receive notifications via our the Speccs app when a new inspection opportunity is available in their area.

    Speccs utilizes digital reporting tools, cloud-based data management, and AI-assisted analysis to streamline inspections and improve report accuracy.

  3. Do inspectors need to use specific software?
    Yes, all inspections must be completed using Speccs' proprietary platform to ensure consistency, accuracy, and seamless report generation.

  4. How long does an inspection typically take?
    The duration depends on the size and type of inspection, but most inspections take between 30 minutes and 3 hours.

  5. What happens if a homeowner has follow-up questions?

  4. How does Speccs handle liability and insurance?
    Inspectors are required to carry their own liability insurance and must add Speccs as additionally insurance to their coverage.
